Attendees can select either Saturday, June 7th or Sunday, June 8th for this one day conference. The workshop will begin at 9am. Lunch will be provided. Dr. Denise Radkey, DVM, DACVAA, will lead the certification workshop.

You will learn the most current, evidence-based guidelines developed by the Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation (RECOVER) initiative, the gold standard in veterinary CPR training. This training is invaluable for all veterinary healthcare professionals to have; not just vets and RVTs!

You will need to complete an online BLS/ALS training prior to attending this in-person Rescuer Certification Workshop (link below). The online courses are prerequisites for this hands-on workshop. You will earn 6 hours of RACE approved credit by completing the online Recover CPR – BLS & ALS training first. The hands-on workshop here will award you an additional 6 hours of RACE approved credit.  There is a separate fee to complete online training that is not covered in this in-person Rescuer Certification Workshop registration. 2024 fees for the prerequisite online training were: DVM: $165. RVT/LVT, support staff, DVM student: $80.

1. If you do not complete online training prior to the Rescuer Certification Workshop, you will not receive your certification. No refund requests will be honored.

2. The in-person training is approximately 5-6 hours long with a practical assessment the participants must pass in order to obtain certification as a RECOVER Certified BLS-ALS Rescuer®.

3. Certification is valid for a 2-year period, at which point veterinary professionals are required to complete the recertification courses in order to renew their certification status (additional fee applies every 2 years).
